The Greene County Development Commission voted to approve an agreement to sell roughly 2–3 acres behind a recently opened building to a buyer identified as Hybrid Solutions for $15,000, commissioners said.
Staff described the parcel as having a large ravine on the backside and said the board had approved the sale in principle at a prior meeting; the action formalized the agreement and authorized the commission president to close. "That's 15,000 15,000. 15,000," a speaker confirmed during the discussion. Commissioners said a formal resolution would be added at the next meeting to complete the record.
A motion to approve the sale agreement was made, seconded and carried with the chair calling for "all in favor," after which the clerk noted the motion passed unanimously. Staff said signatures would be collected after the meeting and the president and at least one other board member would sign closing documents.
Ending: The commission approved the sale agreement; staff will prepare the closing documents and present a formal resolution at the next meeting for the record.
