"They just wanted to put 5,000 in it," the roads speaker said, adding the account would draw against the road materials budget and would be replenishable at the town’s option. The court approved the arrangement by voice vote.
Staff did not present a formal contract during the public portion of the meeting; the court authorized the setup and directed staff to proceed with spreadsheet tracking and auditor reconciliation.
