The board thanked Scott Kainen and Oak Creek Community Center leaders for collaborating on the arrangement.
Blaze and other staff worked on the lease language and maps; a board member noted the change reduced anticipated construction costs and environmental concerns tied to working in the Miller Pond area. The motion to approve the amendment passed by voice vote.
Next steps: staff will finalize the amended lease documents and execute the agreement; the community center and district will coordinate on use of the added parking spaces as construction moves forward.
