On the blood‑service item, county EMS staff said the agreement obligates the county to comply with the vendor’s regulations and requires a deposit (the presenter noted a $350 deposit). The agreement was presented as part of a prehospital infusion program the court previously authorized staff to apply for; commissioners approved the Carter Blood Care agreement by vote.
Both items were recorded as approved with three affirmative votes and two members absent. County staff will proceed with executing the agreements and implementing steps required by the vendor contracts.
