Board approves right-of-way contract and amendments to 5-year road program to pursue $800,000 bridge grant

Interim Engineer Brandon Burmeister presented the items. He described the bridge as located on M47 north of Highway 6 and said the county submitted the project for a competitive Highway Bridge Program grant. “It would be $800,000 of grant funding and the other $200,000 of the funding… would be farm-to-market money,” Burmeister said. He added the grant application had met qualifications and would be packaged with roughly 20 other bridge projects for consideration.
