The Caldwell County Schools Board of Education voted on June 24 to change two upcoming meeting dates.
Superintendent Dr. Don Phipps asked the board to move the July work session to immediately follow the district’s July 14 regular board meeting; a board member confirmed the meetings would start at 8 a.m. Dr. Phipps also asked the board to move the Sept. 9 regular meeting to Sept. 15 because several board members will be in Washington, D.C., for advocacy work and he will be attending a law conference.
A board member moved to approve both schedule changes; another board member seconded. The motions passed by voice vote.
