The Verona Common Council approved development agreements June 23 that allow two subdivisions to begin the next construction phases: Viridian may start Arden Glen Phase 4 (29 lots) and H & H Properties may start Kettle Creek North Phase 8 (8 lots). Both motions were approved contingent on final approval by the city attorney and city administrator.
City engineering staff summarized schedules for both projects: Arden Glen Phase 4 improvements were expected to commence on or about July 13, 2025, with substantial completion targeted on or about Oct. 31, 2025 (subject to contractor schedules and final contracts). Kettle Creek North Phase 8 was also expected to begin shortly after July 4, with timing similar to Arden Glen. The council’s approvals permit the developers to proceed, provided legal and administrative contingencies are satisfied.
Councilors recorded no substantive amendments to the agreements in open session; both motions passed after typical procedural seconds and voice votes. Staff will continue to coordinate inspections, plan reviews and the city attorney’s final approval steps before construction proceeds.
