During public comment on June 23, several Pacifica residents urged the council to address RV parking along East Paloma Avenue and in Sharp Park, raising safety and sanitation concerns, and members of the Pacifica Resource Center (PRC) described ongoing outreach and safe-parking work.

Multiple residents from Sharp Park identified East Paloma Avenue as a particular safety concern, saying large RVs block sightlines near school entrances and sidewalks and reported repeated stress for neighbors. One resident asked the council to remove the neighborhood from a map of permitted RV sites and to pursue stronger engagement with RV owners and a commercial operator alleged to rent RV spaces.
Pacifica Resource Center Outreach (Anita Reese) addressed the council and thanked the city for continued partnership on a temporary safe-parking program. PRC outlined its hours: office open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Wednesday 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and one Saturday a month 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. PRC said its Coast outreach team responds to requests within three hours Monday'Friday (9 a.m.'10 p.m.) and is available 9 a.m.'5 p.m. on weekends and holidays. PRC also announced a reduced pantry schedule (pantry visits reduced from three times a week to twice a month plus off-site grocery distribution on the fourth Wednesday) and posted contact information for outreach and donations.
Earlier commenters including Suzanne Moore (Pacifica Resource Center board member) and Cliff Lawrence supported safe-parking and interim services while noting the need for permanent affordable housing. PRC noted next events including a grocery distribution on June 25 and a PalmaPlooza fundraiser scheduled for Sept. 13.
Ending: Council members said they were hearing neighbors' concerns and acknowledged ongoing city outreach and PRC services; staff and council indicated they are working on long-term responses but did not adopt a new policy at the meeting.
