Pacifica proclaims July Parks and Recreation Month; staff highlight summer programs and services

The Pacifica City Council opened its June 23 meeting with a proclamation recognizing July 2025 as Parks and Recreation Month and invited Parks, Beaches & Recreation Director Scott Leslie and staff to summarize summer offerings.

Council members individually praised staff longevity, scratch-cooked Meals on Wheels and robust senior services. Council asked staff to continue pursuing improved facilities and to publicize programs that support community health and coastal stewardship.
