CareNet asks Chilton County for continued support for women's health, parenting and reentry services

She also said CareNet works with the Alabama Department of Human Resources to provide parenting classes for parents working toward reunification and partners with law enforcement to shelter people fleeing domestic violence, offering a temporary place to stay when no other options exist.
Live Oak said CareNet is forming a support group for recently released women inmates and is coordinating with Belle Bonsons to reach women who may need help reconnecting with their children.
The commission chair confirmed the process for requesting county funds and Live Oak said CareNet received the application by email and will submit it on time.
