Superintendent Dr. Marley introduced Langenderfer and outlined her experience in K–8 settings, prior acting administrative work in Toledo Public Schools, service on attendance teams, and work as vice president of the nonprofit Justice for Sierra, which Dr. Marley said Langenderfer has been involved with since 2016. Dr. Marley noted Langenderfer’s classroom experience in kindergarten and third grade and participation on building leadership teams and PBIS and data teams.
The board moved and seconded the appointment on the record and voted to approve the recommendation; Langenderfer was present at the meeting. No public comments related to the appointment were recorded.
