Warrick County School Corp trustees on June 23 approved Resolution 2025-3, authorizing the superintendent to recruit and hire personnel to ensure full staffing for the upcoming school year. Dr. Doug Gresham, director of human resources, presented the request and said the superintendent will provide the board with the names of new hires for official approval at subsequent meetings. "I recommend the board approve the resolution 20 25 dash 3 as presented," Dr. Redmond said while introducing the packet item.
Board members moved and seconded the motion (mover: Mister Eigner; second: Mister Baker) and the vote carried unanimously. The resolution gives district hiring authority to the superintendent for each academic term; individual hires will still be reported to and ratified by the board at later meetings.
