Heidi Miller, a Coolidge resident, told the Pinal County Board of Supervisors on June 4 that recent, abrupt terminations of Job Corps operations are leaving students without housing and preventing participants from completing training programs.
"These kids that are in this program ... are frequently from foster care families. They're frequently from broken home families," Miller said during the meeting's public comment period. "Doing this to them will increase the number of ACEs, Adverse Childhood Experiences, and increase their trauma."
