Central Valley board confirms treasurer, grants tenure to 11 teachers and approves multiple hires

On personnel hires and contracts, the district approved multiple positions effective in August 2025, including special education teachers Adrian Anzalone, Elizabeth Dodson, Lisa Linder and Zachary Rosa (each listed as Step 1, bachelor’s); Catherine Senior as an elementary teacher (Step 2, bachelor’s); Jamie Economas as middle school secretary at $18.25 per hour; and school-day and summer positions as listed in the agenda. The board approved three-year contracts for registered nurses Bridget Swetovich and Amy Downer, each starting at $36,500 with yearly increases per the agreement. The board also approved hiring Bridal Pavlich as a paraprofessional for extended school year support at $18 per hour. The board accepted resignations recorded in the agenda, including Anne Springer (paraprofessional, effective June 6, 2025) and Brenda Stoyer (school nurse, effective July 1, 2025).
The board approved a district transportation agreement with Bridal Transportation effective July 1, 2025, “pending solicitor approval,” as read into the record.
