Mister Franchetta presented the ordinance for public hearing; the council opened the hearing, received no public comment, closed the hearing and then voted to adopt. Doctor Arthur, Council member Vargas, President Paul Spinelli and Vice President Cruz Gomez voted yes; Council member English was absent.
The ordinance authorizes acquisition either by purchase or by condemnation under the cited New Jersey statute and will be submitted to the mayor for approval or disapproval as required by city procedure.
