Director Sacevich told the council Sweeping Corp of America was the highest‑rated firm and offered competitive costs. He also noted an error in the staff report: the proposals were received on March 27, 2025, not September 27, 2025 as printed.
Councilman Dorito moved to award the contract and to authorize the funding for task order 1; Councilman Brady seconded. The motion passed unanimously.
Staff said the firm has been used in the past and has been responsive during severe storm events; council members remarked that recent monsoon‑style storms highlighted the need for timely maintenance in some areas.
