Staff member, City staff, announced at a council work session that Peachtree City appointed three citizen volunteers to the planning commission: Chris Jenkins and Robert Halverson, and Jack Allen as an alternate.
The staff member said the three were selected from many applicants and encouraged residents to apply for upcoming vacancies on the Convention and Visitors Bureau, Airport Authority, Planning Commission, Recreation Advisory Group and Transportation Advisory Group. Notifications are scheduled to go out in July, and interviews for openings will be held in July and August.
