Representative McClure said, “the House would remove the funding for line 114, historic Markland House restoration, at $500,000 and move the funds to line 81, City of Marathon workforce housing project, for a total of $1,250,000.” That reallocation was presented as part of the committee’s cross‑chamber acceptances; the transcript records no public testimony on those acceptances.
The committee also received and reviewed the public education capital outlay project funded list. Committee leadership announced there would be no further meetings that evening and that meetings the following day would not start before noon, with at least one hour’s notice provided.
