Center Grove Community School Corp. announced that the district received a final payment of $23,917.60 from former superintendent Rich Arcanoff, bringing total recovered funds to $71,149.20 and closing the matter, the district said.
According to the statement read at the meeting, the amount includes $2,135.71 identified by the State Board of Accounts and $21,781.95 uncovered through the district’s internal review. Combined with an earlier payment of $11,024.67 and a credit against accrued time off entered by the corporation prior to retirement (the statement cited $36,206.95), the district said all funds determined owed by Arcanoff have been recovered.
The district thanked the Center Grove administration and the State Board of Accounts for their work investigating and resolving the matter and thanked the community for patience during the process. The statement said the district considers the matter closed.
