Commissioners approve biennial MOU between Job and Family Services and local workforce board

The Delaware County Board of Commissioners approved Resolution 25-449, a memorandum of understanding between Delaware County Job and Family Services and the local workforce board for Workforce Area 7.
Jennifer Wattenschade, business administrator with Job and Family Services, described the agreement as a regular, biennial MOU used to recover costs associated with providing office space and staff to support client services. "We redo this every 2 years," Wattenschade said. She noted that several state representatives have office space in the Job and Family Services building to help individuals who walk in seeking job assistance.
The commissioners voted by voice to approve the MOU. The agreement enables cost recovery for shared office and staff resources used to provide workforce and client services in the county.
