Because one commissioner said they were unable to attend all three finalist interviews, Commissioner Merrill abstained from the vote. Commissioner Benton moved the resolution and Commissioner Lewis voted aye; the board approved Resolution No. 25-458 with two votes in favor and one abstention. The clerk was asked to record the abstention and proceed with appointment formalities.
