Lebanon County commissioners on Tuesday voted to approve payment to Quincy Technology Services for an electronic coroner case-management system used by the county coroner’s office.
Brianna Bridal, first deputy at the Lebanon County coroner’s office, told commissioners the Quincy system provides standardized data entry, secure permissions, searchable records and report generation. "Using this case management system means that the cases are always easily accessible," Bridal said, adding that she recently retrieved a four-year-old case in seconds because it was in the system.
Bridal said the coroner has been using Quincy since about 2017 and that the county does not currently budget the fee in the general coroner budget; she estimated the annual cost will be around $5,000 and said the office will include it in the 2026 budget. Commissioners moved and approved the payment and asked county staff to incorporate the recurring annual fee into future budgets.
A brief discussion noted other counties' coroners use similar electronic systems; commissioners praised the office’s transition to the software and approved the payment by voice vote.
