Alan Meyer, a Napoleon resident, told the Napoleon City Council on June 16 that he has received multiple, unclear zoning-violation notices about an RV converted to a bus parked behind a property along the Maumee River.
Meyer said the first two notice letters pasted zoning code language without explaining specifically how his vehicle or its use violated the code. “I received 2 violation letters that have copied and pasted code with no explanation of how I have violated that code,” Meyer said. He said the notices cited sections that did not mention recreational vehicles or Airbnbs and that follow-up communication from staff was inconsistent.
