The Rockingham County Board of Commissioners on June 18 approved an accounts-payable warrant that included a payment to Harvey Construction Corporation.
At the meeting the senior director of facility planning and IT and the senior director of finance recommended approving the June 18, 2025 accounts payable warrant that lists Harvey Construction Corporation for $2,182,825.09. A commissioner questioned the digits and the record was clarified during the meeting: the final warrant amount is $2,182,825.09.
A commissioner noted one line-item reimbursement on the warrant โ coffee purchased for construction workers โ and said the item did not alter support for the warrant but warranted acknowledgment. The board voted to approve the warrant as clarified.
The warrant was presented as recommended by the senior directors and approved by the commissioners in attendance.
