The Monona Taxonomy Committee approved minutes from its May 15 meeting and confirmed July 17 as its next regular meeting, the committee said during its recent session.
The approval of the May 15 minutes followed a roll call with Chad Holmquist, Mr. Schweigen, Mr. Patson and Ms. Steele recorded as present. Committee members voted to approve the minutes by voice vote; the transcript records affirmative responses but does not give a numerical tally.
The committee postponed items 5 and 6 after an applicant submitted additional materials. Committee staff said those items will be moved to next month’s meeting so the updated materials can be circulated and reviewed.
Committee staff member Doug confirmed the July 17 regular meeting date and asked members to notify staff of any absences as the summer travel season approaches. The meeting record notes there were no in-person or Zoom appearances by members of the public for the items discussed.
A motion to adjourn was then made and carried, concluding the meeting.
The committee did not discuss or decide substantive policy changes during this session; the main actions were approval of minutes, scheduling, and postponement of agenda items pending applicant materials.
