Administrators described the changes on the floor: the district will keep the Friday off before Memorial Day, add a half day in March to support K'12 parent conferences, and remove the half day previously scheduled for Nov. 10 because November conferences will be held in the evening. The superintendent said the calendar will be sent to families with reminders and information about the HEAL alleviation plan.
Board members approved the calendar by voice vote during the meeting. One board member asked about the previous change from the prior month and administration described the three edits on the record.
The calendar adoption is effective for the 2025-26 school year and will be distributed to families and staff before the start of next year.
