WENTZVILLE, Mo. — The Wentzville R‑IV School District board approved changes to the 4894 support‑staff collective bargaining agreement and adopted a salary schedule that averages a 5% increase for salaried support staff at its June 18 meeting.

A district representative on the negotiating team summarized the process and read brief remarks from the union president, who was not present. Board members praised the collegial tone at the table and said the agreement reflected progress compared with prior years. Staff noted that driver pay adjustments negotiated as part of 4894 were intended to move the district closer to peer pay rates in surrounding districts.
The board adopted the salary schedule by motion and voice vote; the packet lists the salary schedule item and the 5% average increase for salaried support staff. Staff said the increases and the negotiated changes are included in the FY26 budget.
