California Acupuncture Board projects roughly $5.7 million fund balance as fiscal year closes

Jennifer Tompkins, a budget analyst in the Department of Consumer Affairs budget office, told the California Acupuncture Board on June 13 that the board’s fiscal projections show stronger-than-expected reserves heading into the next fiscal year.
“The board had a beginning based budget of approximately 3,800,000.0 and is projected to spend approximately 3,200,000.0, creating a reversion to the board's fund of approximately 521,000 or a reversion percentage of 14.05%,” Tompkins said.
