Springdale planning commission elevates Virgin River implementation, wildland-urban interface and parking study in workplan

The Springdale Planning Commission on June 4 reviewed and reprioritized its annual work plan, elevating implementation of the Virgin River management plan, compliance with state wildland-urban-interface rules, and review of the town parking study to the commission—s top priorities.

Commissioner Tom Kinston, who presented the item, described the annual practice of categorizing work items so the commission can plan efficient work meetings and address the most pressing issues. He told commissioners the group had completed most Priority 1 items identified in January and should now decide which Priority 2 items to move up.
