Crystal, staff presenter for the agency, told the board she had presented the budget at the previous meeting and that "I didn't receive any comments or questions over the last couple of weeks." She said she was "happy to answer anything that you may have now." No members of the public stepped forward to comment during the public hearing.
The adoption was moved by Clarissa Williams, board member, who put forward "a motion that we approve a resolution of the redevelopment agency of South Salt Lake City approving and adopting the budget for fiscal year 07/01/2025 through 06/30/2026." The motion was seconded by Corey Thomas, board member. The board conducted a roll call and the chair declared the motion passed.
Board members also handled closing business after the budget vote. After an initial motion that used the term "close the RDA meeting," the chair corrected the record and a motion to adjourn was made and seconded; the adjournment motion carried.
The adopted resolution sets the agency’s spending plan for redevelopment activities for the 12-month period beginning July 1, 2025. The staff presenter said there were no public comments or questions during the hearing; no additional details about line-item changes or funding sources were requested during the meeting.
