The parcels are on the west side of Woodson Avenue south of Center Street and total roughly 1.11 acres, the planner said. Staff recommended approval of the annexations and companion rezoning applications from Legacy Homes Veil LLC. The planning presentation described the properties as consistent with the city’s low‑density residential future land use.
The commission handled the three lots in sequence (annexation followed by zoning for each parcel). Commissioner Wilson moved the annexation motions and Commissioner Kennedy seconded; each motion passed on unanimous vote with Commissioner Fuerstner absent. After public hearings were opened and closed with no speakers, the commission approved the ordinances on second reading.
Ending: The city clerk was directed to update official maps and zoning records; staff will proceed with administrative updates following the ordinances’ effective dates.
