The International Falls City Council on June 16 adopted two resolutions authorizing airport grant agreements: a MnDOT State Airport Fund equipment grant agreement and a fiscal‑year 2026 air service marketing grant agreement.
Councillor Buller moved adoption of the MnDOT equipment grant resolution; Councillor Holden seconded and the council approved the item by a 4‑0 vote with one abstention. The subsequent motion to accept the FY2026 air service marketing grant agreement was moved by Councillor Buller, seconded by Councillor Kahler, and also passed 4‑0 with one abstention.
Councilors did not read the full project numbers into the record during the meeting; the council indicated support for the grants and recorded the abstentions on each vote. Staff will finalize the grant documents and proceed with the agreements as authorized by the council.
