Board extends HR consulting agreement with MGT for another year

The Village Board approved an extension of the human resources consulting agreement with MGT Impact Solutions to continue services through July 3, 2026.
Finance Director Tony Vasquez reported the village engaged MGT in December 2024 for an initial six‑month arrangement while transitioning from prior HR services. The consultant, Stefana Przybylisky, provided onboarding, insurance open‑enrollment assistance, promotion of the employee assistance program and a personnel‑records review, and staff said she “exceeded our expectations.”
The extension continues the existing pricing model: a five‑hour monthly retainer at $580 (equivalent to $6,960 for 12 months) and $116 per hour for preapproved work above the retainer. Vasquez said in the first five months the village paid slightly less than five hours over the retainer. Trustee Smith asked about termination language; staff pointed to Exhibit A, which contains a 30‑day termination clause allowing either party to end the agreement with written notice.
Trustees approved the extension by roll call; recorded ayes included Trustees Trevino, Eastman, Jamerson, Raff and Smith. Staff will continue to schedule HR support under the extended agreement.
