Walworth County sheriff projects up to $1.5 million overtime shortfall; staff say hires underway

The notice to the committee came during an update on the sheriff's overtime budget. "Right now, if we had to say how much do we need, it's $1,500,000. But we wanted one more month to get a little bit closer and feel better about those numbers," said a Sheriff's Office representative during the meeting.
