Red Bank Police Department promotes three officers at June work session

Chief Seymour and commission members noted the officers’ prior experience: Daniels has prior law-enforcement experience and a bachelor of science degree; Dockery has 21 years in law enforcement with Red Bank, including K-9, patrol and 10 years as a detective, and has served as the department SWAT commander since 2009; Netta Grover has roughly 35 years in law enforcement, served in supervisory roles and completed a five-week leadership program hosted by the University of Tennessee Law Enforcement Innovation Center and partners.
Family members attended the ceremony. Victor Daniels participated in the traditional ring presentation for Sarah Daniels. Chief Seymour said the promotions create openings that the department will fill through the standard selection process and called attention to forthcoming internal promotions and vacancies that will be posted.
The commission and attendees offered brief congratulations; the recognitions were presented during the work session before the evening moved on to budget and other agenda items.
