Commission approves two provisional alcohol licenses for Brunswick restaurants and hotel

The Glynn County Board of Commissioners approved two provisional alcoholic beverage licenses at its June 19 meeting.
The board granted a provisional 2025 license to Jai Laxmi Lodging LLC, doing business as Courtyard by Marriott, 580 Millennium Boulevard, to sell beer, wine and liquor for on-premises consumption in a hotel lounge and to sell retail packages of beer and wine (Sunday sales permitted). Stephanie Oliver, speaking on behalf of Chief Ebner of the Glynn County Police Department, said nothing in applicant Krishna Patel’s background would preclude the license.
The board also approved a provisional 2025 license for Mishravinda LLC, doing business as Your Pie, 495 Canal Road, to sell malt beverages and wine for on-premises consumption (Sunday sales permitted). Hiral (Harold/Hiral spelled in the record) Patel was present and staff reported no background issues.
Both public hearings drew no speakers in favor or opposition. Commissioners moved and approved both provisional licenses; the motions passed unanimously.
