Williamsport City Council on Wednesday approved a resolution to document a print services agreement with Infocon that covers printing and mailing for real-estate tax notices.
Kevin Mackey, who appeared in the meeting as the city treasurer, described Infocon as “the programming company responsible for all the real estate taxes within the county,” and said the agreement was already in use for mailings. Mackey told the council the contract had not been on file and the resolution is to ensure it is recorded in accordance with financial policies.
Council members recorded the vote 5-0. No council questions prompted changes to the agreement during the meeting.
The resolution records the vendor relationship for ongoing print and mailing services; most associated costs are borne by the county, with the city handling local mailings through the treasurer’s office.
