Council approves redevelopment authority report and notice to transfer property for General Mills dock wall project

The Superior Common Council approved several redevelopment-related resolutions on Oct. 16.
The council adopted a resolution identifying blighted property and authorizing the Redevelopment Authority of the City of Superior (RAC) to assist in private acquisition, improvement and development. The resolution also approved the RAC report concerning a development agreement with Exodus Machines LLC and Exodus Real Estate Holdings LLC.
Separately, the council approved a resolution approving the form of notice to transfer and lease real property relating to the General Mills Dock Wall Project. Both resolutions passed on voice vote without extended debate.
Staff provided the Redevelopment Authority's report to the council ahead of the vote. The council recorded the motions and approved both items.
