‘Positively Superior’ launches website and digital archive; publishers emphasize print and search optimization

Jay Ott and partners introduced positivelysuperior.com to the Superior Common Council Dec. 18, marking a digital launch for the city-focused magazine that had its first print issue about 16 months earlier.
Ott showed councilors the site’s home page, navigation tools and features including thumbnails, a print button, share icons for email and social media and a searchable archive. He said the site is search‑engine optimized and free to view; an archive of past issues will be available starting in January. “This is a new portal on the web for the city of Superior,” Ott told the council and added the magazine will still produce printed issues that are mailed to residents.
Councilors praised the publication. Officer Bender thanked Ott for including images of the dragon-boat festival on the presentation’s opening page. Ott said the team will continue editorial growth and keep producing print and web editions.
