Board approves Chartwells as district food‑service manager; company pledges no gaps for staff benefits

Board members asked whether staff would lose hours or benefits during the transition; Chartwells representatives affirmed that schedules and pay would be preserved in the company’s proposal. The motion to award the food‑service contract to Chartwells carried.
