Henderson council approves multiple rezones and plats, holds first readings on two zoning map changes

The action on 900 East Main came after a presentation from city staff member Breidenberg, who said the property owner and applicants want to “turn this into a a planned development where they have a pick, have people come and pick, berries, orchard, things like that, and build a house on that back section” and include an apiary and other uses. Council member Circassie moved to accept the commission’s recommendation; Miss Martin seconded the motion, and the council approved it.
