The School District No. Re-3 Fort Morgan Board of Education approved Lincoln High Schoolactual and planned measures as an alternative education campus and directed staff to submit the required materials to the state.
Assistant Superintendent (Assessment) presented the item and said the measures being submitted relate to NWEA math growth, student return rates and credit course completion. The presenter said Lincoln performed relatively well in the measures discussed and that how those data translate into the Colorado School Performance Framework will not be available until later (likely August or September), but the district is required to submit the data now.
The presenter provided district-level NWEA data and said a more detailed growth-premium report should be available by the July board meeting. Staff noted that midyear district data showed growth trends stronger than at the end of the prior year and that some high school efforts on goal-setting and common formative assessments have contributed to early gains.
Board members moved and seconded approval; the item passed on roll call.
