Cabell County Schools provided the board an update Tuesday on summer programs running across the district, reporting enrollment figures for elementary camps, credit-recovery sessions and extended school-year services.
The district’s instructional staff told the board the elementary camps so far have served 273 students countywide and that the Japanese cultural camp served 120 students across two weeks. “We have 27 students that have attended that so far” at Village of Barbersville Elementary, the staff member said, and “they have serviced 120 of our students so far” at Japanese…
