Board members asked for precise current figures and historical minutes before adopting any change. They asked the chief to email the existing schedule and to bring consolidated numbers to a work session for final action. One selectman said he was comfortable with a $5 raise and a Speedway supervisor premium, while others asked for clarity about how alcohol-serving events would be treated and whether the town should maintain a single generalized rate to avoid billing errors.
No vote was taken. The board asked staff to compile current rates, historical minute references, and to schedule the rate discussion for an upcoming work session where the board will consider a formal motion.
