Joseph Barone, identified in public comment as a Milton resident, told the council that Milton Way has increasing speeding traffic and described difficulties for large trucks making turns onto Porter Avenue.
“I estimate anywhere from 50 to 60 miles an hour coming up the road,” Barone said, and he warned that trucks attempting the left turn onto Porter are “almost taking the lights out.” He suggested the city consider photo enforcement if funding allows.
The comment period closed after two speakers; no formal council action was taken on the remark during the meeting.
