Ravalli County commissioners on Tuesday approved a name change to a hangar lease and a separate renewal that shifts a hangar from private to commercial use at the county airport.

The approvals were routine, and county commissioners said both items had already been reviewed by the Ravalli County Airport Board. The commissioners moved and seconded each lease action and took roll-call votes to adopt them.

At the meeting, the board approved a lease name change involving the Burnham family and Burnham Woodtree Farm LLC for Hangar Number 322. The motion to approve the lease name change was moved, seconded and carried unanimously.

The board also approved a lease renewal from MTB Holdings that included changing Hangar Number 364’s status from private to commercial. Commissioners said the airport board reviewed that lease on June 4. The motion to change the hangar’s status was moved, seconded and carried by voice vote.

County staff did not identify additional conditions attached to the approvals during the meeting. The actions were taken during the commissioners’ contracts and airport agenda items, not during public comment.
