The Ravalli County Board of Commissioners voted to approve facilitation services from Montana Forest Consultants for the Ravalli County Collaborative (RCC) at a cost of $584.70 per month, provided grant funds are available.

A request from Montana Forest Consultants asked that Aaron Clark serve as a facilitator for the RCC with compensation calculated to cover facilitation time, drive time and mileage. The motion on the floor was to approve those facilitation services “as long as grant funding is available” and specified a total amount of $584.70 a month.

The board moved and seconded the item and then voted. Commissioner Greg Chilcott, Commissioner Jeff Burrows and Commissioner Holes each voted yes, and the motion carried.

No public comment was recorded on the motion. The transcript does not include a separate signed contract in the record; staff will proceed with processing the agreement contingent on available grant funds.
