The city development and planning committee reminded attendees that a public hearing is scheduled for June 9 to consider changing a portion of Scribe Avenue from two-way to one-way traffic.

The proposed one-way conversion applies to the segment from the intersection at Crane and Main streets to Pull Strand Place (transcript section). Staff said the public hearing will be used to gather neighborhood input before any ordinance or traffic-control changes are adopted.

No new details or votes were taken at the June 2 committee meeting; the matter will return after the June 9 hearing for committee consideration.
