School committee ratifies teachers’ successor agreement after bargaining; two members abstain

Committee members characterized the agreement as fair to both educators and the district and said it preserves labor peace.
The vote ratifies the successor contract but the meeting packet did not include full contract language in the public discussion; committee members thanked the bargaining teams and said the agreement will be implemented per contract terms.
