Kenosha County Board unanimously approves series of appointments, Country Thunder license and First Tee agreement

The board approved appointments recommended by committee, including the appointment of Lieutenant Michael Pasifaro to the Kenosha County Local Emergency Planning Committee; Sarah Kirby and Andres Grama to the Kenosha County Human Services Board; Kenny Harper to the Kenosha-Racine Community Action Agency Board; Jim Baxa to the Local Emergency Planning Committee; Sue Hughes, Chris Allen and Eleanor Decker to the Kenosha County Library System Board; and Ronald Kammerzelt, Robert Stoll and Keith Gray to various county planning and conservation boards. All of those actions passed on voice votes recorded as unanimous.
The board also approved an activity control license for Country Thunder LLC that will be granted for the dates of July 16 through July 21. The Judiciary and Law Committee had recommended the license and the board approved it on a unanimous voice vote.
On intergovernmental agreements, the board approved a companion resolution authorizing an agreement between the City of Kenosha and Kenosha County to support the First Tee program at Washington Park Municipal Golf Course; that resolution had passed both Public Works & Facilities and Finance & Administration committees unanimously.
During the Human Services Board appointment discussion, Supervisor Thomas Stocker urged departmental leaders to examine staffing concerns after noting a pattern of employees leaving that area; that comment was recorded as part of the discussion but did not alter the committee recommendation or the vote outcome.
All listed motions were moved, seconded and approved during the meeting. Specific movers and seconders recorded on the floor included Supervisor Joseph Franco moving multiple judiciary- and human-services-related resolutions, with seconds by supervisors including Supervisor Garcia and Supervisor Nordigan among others.
